When should I choose Custom Service instead of Standard or Managed Service?

Choose Custom Service when the result you need cannot be produced by supported migration behavior or Standard Add-ons alone. Typical cases include custom fields or tables, app/plugin/module/extension data, external identifiers, bespoke transformations, non-standard relationships, Custom Platform work, or modified/new Add-on behavior. Store size alone does not make a migration Custom Service.

What should I provide so Next-Cart can scope my custom requirements accurately?

Provide your Source Platform and Target Platform details, representative records including difficult edge cases, the business purpose and data owner, the intended Target Store result, transformation or matching rules, related apps or external systems, and clear validation examples. These inputs help Next-Cart assess feasibility, define what is included or excluded, and quote the tailored work more accurately.

Can Custom Service handle app/plugin data and external identifiers?

Yes, when the data is accessible and a workable Target Platform representation can be agreed. Next-Cart first identifies which system owns the data, which migrated records it belongs to, where it should land, and which business process still depends on it. Custom Service can preserve the agreed migration-side data and relationships, but installing or operating the app or integration itself is separate unless explicitly included.

Does Custom Service automatically include Expert Handle or Target Platform implementation?

No. Custom Service defines the tailored migration work. You can perform the agreed migration actions yourself, or include Expert Handle when expert-led execution is part of the accepted scope. Theme work, app installation, integration deployment, payment, shipping, tax or email setup, and full workflow reconstruction are separate unless expressly included.

How is Custom Service priced, and can I add it to an existing migration?

Custom Service starts from the Standard Service price for your selected Entity Points Plan, then adds the agreed customization-work quote, applicable Add-ons, Expert Handle when included, and other accepted scope-specific costs. If you add custom work to a migration you already purchased, the amount already paid is recognized and you pay only the additional difference. The upgrade stays within the same migration and does not extend the one-year service duration.
