How to get Lightspeed API Key

To get data from a Lightspeed store, our migration tool needs to access it via the API. The instruction below will show you how to obtain the API Key and Secret:

  1. Login to your Lightspeed admin.
  2. Go to Settings > Store Settings > Developers.
  3. Click New API Key.
  4. Enter a name for the API key then click Save.
  5. In the SETTINGS area, enable the API key and set all permissions to Read.
  6. Click Save and the API Key and API Secret will display in the DETAILS area.
