When customer accounts are created, they will show up under the WordPress Users section with the role “Customer”. The WooCommerce > Customers section is a report and it only shows the customers who have placed at least one order.
That means a customer account will appear in the WooCommerce > Customers section if the account is migrated and linked to at least one order. To ensure the linkage between customers and orders, make sure your migration meets one of the following requirements:
- Customers and orders are migrated in one migration process.
- Customers (and orders) has been previously migrated, and new orders (and new customers) are migrated with the option “Continue the previous migration”.
