When we import customers to Shopify, will they be notified by any of Shopify notification emails?

By default, customer notifications are disabled during the migration. If order notification emails are still being sent to customers, please check the custom app you’ve created to ensure that the Storefront API is disabled. Additionally, we recommend disabling any third-party shipping or email apps to ensure they do not trigger emails to your customers when orders are imported.

Admin users will still receive email notifications. However, you can disable these in Settings > Notifications > Staff notifications.
