How to set up Lightspeed Retail POS API Key?

For R-Series

Please follow the steps below to set up our NC-Migration app to your Lightspeed Retail POS and get your Lightspeed Retail’s API Key:

1. Login to your Lightspeed Retail POS.
2. Click on this link to add our NC-Migration app to your Lightspeed Retail account.
3. Click on Authorize Application button. You will be prompted to download the file lightspeed_api_key.txt to your computer.
4. Open the file lightspeed_api_key.txt, you will get the API Key. Please copy it into the migration tool to start the migration.

For Vend (X-Series)

Lightspeed Retail X-Series is Vend. If you are planning to migrate data from your Retail X-Series account, please select the source cart Vend. You could follow the steps below to get your Personal Token:

1. Login to your Vend account.
2. Go to Setup > Personal Tokens.
3. Click Add Personal Token.
4. Fill in the Token name and uncheck the Expiry date.
5. Click Generate Personal Token. The Personal Token will be displayed and you can use it for the migration tool.
