Kitconnect does not work after it has been uploaded

Most people get this error because of files and folders permissions. This problem can be solved easily by doing the following steps:

  • Set the permission of kitconnect folder to 755
  • Set the permission of kitconnect.php file to 644

If you get this error message: “ERROR: Cannot get configuration from the Kitconnect in your Source store. Reason: Invalid secret token”, that mean you tried our Demo migration tool successfully then bought the Migration tool. To resolve this problem, you should download the new Kitconnect package from the paid Migration tool then upload it to your stores root folder again (replace the old Kitconnect).
